My first OCC meet -Bangalore

Man! That was fun. Met close to 20 odd people that day at the meet. Energetic, Focused, Aspiring, Clueless could be the words that could describe the kind of people whom I met out there.

As this was my first ever OCC meet, I really didn't know what to expect nor did I know what was expected of me. But to be honest I had fun, little bit of gyaan and 20-30% of the technical things about ios, app development and all the technical nuances  did go above my head ( Like Puff! ;-) ) but hey I was able to answer most of the questions about BizPhone, Cloud Agent or Kookoo that came my way from a marketing perspective and I enjoyed every bit of it.  I got to know a lot of things that I hadn't known before, got to voice out my opinion, suggest things, got made fun of (Thanks to Amarinder) and got to make fun of too (Thanks to Amarinder again)

And oh the place where the whole meet was conducted was just damn cool. Thanks to Jay who owns 360 degree workout health and fitness near Christ College and his friends Achalesh and Anshu for being a perfect host.

Met lotsa interesting people doing interesting things like Vishnu who owns this media resources aggregation site called Thiray , Prasana who is into producing jobs for rural youth through his company called Agratha Solutions and by promoting rural tourism (who seemed to have fired a lot of people for the right reasons), Pavan from Unbxd,  a cool start up that is into Search analytics, mobile solutions for Ecommerce search, etc. (A service which I had wanted before but never knew there were companiees who actually do that, thanks to OCC now I know one), Pushpa Raj who runs skill set training academy called Shiksha Club, Bushan who is about to start something in the cloud hospital management space and  Michelle from entrepreneurial cell NEN (Which I have never heard before, but a very vital info that I could pass on to a lot of friends and family :-) ).

In my opinion, one could draw a lot of inspiration from this sort of meet ups that too when Bangalore is shaping up to be an entrepreneurial hub in India. I guess I'm fortunate enough to add value to this whole thing by being part of an exciting and wonderful start up like Ozonetel. A member of OCC Bangalore even said that in a few years from now, people will call Bay Area as the Bangalore of US. I say - way to go guys and good luck all you entrepreneurial minds out there!!
